Today, it is a somewhat old-fashioned city, with a total of 809 buildings on the historic register, and many Victorian-style homes. With all of those historic buildings, you have to imagine that several of them must be haunted. And you would be right...

Hassayampa Inn - 4 stars (out of 5)
A hotel that has been haunted almost since the very beginning, when one of the earliest guests, a young bride in a doomed marriage, committed suicide above the honeymoon suite.
